Recycling Program

The Ottawa-Sandusky-Seneca County (OSS) Joint Solid Waste Management District in conjunction with the Township Trustees sponsors the recycling program for Woodville Township and Village residents. The bins are located at the Township Maintenance Garage at 761 East Main Street.

It is open 7 days a week during daylight hours only! Only residential recycling is permitted. No businesses please. No trash can be placed in the bins. All materials can be put into the container together (comingled). There is no cost to participate in this program.

What Recyclables Are Accepted?

Glass – bottles and jars only (rinse & remove lids)

Metal – aluminum, steel, and aerosol cans (rinse)

Plastics – food, beverage, & detergent containers only

Paper – cardboard, junk mail, magazines, newspaper, phone books, office paper

The OSS Solid Waste Management District in Fremont has collections throughout the year for people to properly dispose of items including car tires, farm tires, used batteries, household hazardous wastes, televisions, computer monitors, and other various items.
